Many visitors appreciated the spacious sites, scenic water views, and peaceful atmosphere, with some even extending their stays. Campsite #8 - Beautiful campsite right near the water with a fire pit, table, and a grill. We stayed 2 nights and most of our stay had the whole loop to ourselves. Be aware that there are water hookups “in the area”. At this site, we would have had to stretch a hose across the neighboring site and into the next to re-fill our tank. This was just a short drive into Hot Springs. No wi-fi and barely any phone signal (AT&T) but we would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Great site, plenty of shade and nice weather. Not very busy for this time of year which is good. Parking pad not level in most sites so be prepared for that. Nice place overall.

What a delight find! Nestled on the shore of DeGray Lake, this campground was quiet and peaceful. Sites have electric, and water can be found next to the restroom. There are also showers available. Verizon was 2-3 bars at site 64.

As a tent camper, the Pros are:
You get the best spots on the points.
Electric is available to charge your electronics .
Flat tent pads!
Good price.
The cons are:
May have complete strangers camping 10ft away from you as the spots are close together.
You have to share the bathhouse with spiders
You have to pay for 2 nights on the weekends even if you are only passing through and can only stay one night. Even on weekends with only a few other campers there.
The other side is I've had to stay in a hotel because the campgrounds were "full" on a Saturday night, yet there were spots no one showed up to occupy 👎
