What Guests Are Saying
Arlie Moore Park is a beautiful campground with great water views, scenic surroundings, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite for many campers. While some facilities, such as bathrooms and showers, have received mixed reviews, the park's natural beauty and enjoyable fishing experiences are consistently praised. Campers appreciate the reasonable pricing and the kindness of camp hosts, though some note the need for improved site maintenance and management presence.

As a tent camper, the Pros are:
You get the best spots on the points.
Electric is available to charge your electronics .
Flat tent pads!
Good price.
The cons are:
May have complete strangers camping 10ft away from you as the spots are close together.
You have to share the bathhouse with spiders
You have to pay for 2 nights on the weekends even if you are only passing through and can only stay one night. Even on weekends with only a few other campers there.
The other side is I've had to stay in a hotel because the campgrounds were "full" on a Saturday night, yet there were spots no one showed up to occupy 👎

Don't reserve site 31. The electrical box is quite far from the pad. Ours wouldn't reach and we had a tussle getting our reservation cancelled. Many of the pads in this loop are very narrow and the ground is very sloped. Leveling would have been awful if not impossible.

Arlie Moore is off the beaten path, and thus void of the typical crowds, but very easy to get to via a nicely paved road. The three separate campground areas are spread well apart, so that each feels, and is, far more intimate that the typical state "mega" campgrounds. The bathrooms are clean, the grounds are clean, and it is professionally run. Corp of Engineer campgrounds like this are a real hidden gem!

Nice clean spots and restrooms. However we arrived to find our spot occupied by a woman who appeared to be living there. She claimed that the spot next door was her’s so we took that spot since we were there only for the night. After talking to other campers seems she had been there for awhile. We never saw any ranger or host come through the campground.

Camp sites need to leveled, cleaned up, some trees cut.showers need attention (tile repair). Needs water at each camp site, underbrush needs to be cleared. Would be great place to camp if Corp invested time, labor, and funding to make siteslevel for modern equipment. Very few if any updates since lake was put in.

I know it's nice here but the spiders in the bed house I never seen a spider eating a frog in my life and the daddy long leg other than that it's a beautiful place
