The campground host was great. The campground is about 100 feet above the lake with lots of tall trees. There were a lot of folks with mountain bikes. The quiet hours were respected. It was nice to have a hot shower in the morning. It was a very nice experience overall.

i hate to have to give this a low rating, but its deserved. this park has an absolutely MASSIVE ant problem. both rvs here were absolutely infested with them. i was staying on the right hand loop. tight roads, unlevel spaces. the camp host was really great, and very friendly. there is only one small sign regarding ants at the office. those in charge have apparently been notified multiple times, yet do nothing about the ants.

Nice view. Other than that, I had a horrible time. The tent pad was so hard I couldn’t get the spikes in. Despite spraying ant killer all around, I woke up covered in ants. Never happened to me before at any other campsite. The bathrooms and showers were use in case of emergency only. Will not go back.
