Iron Mountain is old, the sites are unlevel, and water is only at various places but I love this campground. I hope it never changes. It's rustic charm is what I love. The. bathhouses are always clean. Arkadelphia is close with everything you may need and the people are all friendly; I always enjoy camping Iron Mountain.

Terrible unlevel and small pads. Worst COE campground we've stayed at. Sites haven't been cared for in long time. Only thing good was the bathrooms were cleaned regularly.

We enjoy Iron Mountain in the spring because it isnt so crowded. We parked next to a water source so we were able to keep the water tank filled. Downside it that we couldn’t see the lake.

I appreciate the campground. Clean and well maintained. I love the simple, rustic charm of this campground. You also can not beat the access to the excellent biking and hiking trails. I much prefer this campground to ones with full hookups. It enhances the nature around it and really makes one want to get out and enjoy the outdoors and recreational activities. The bathhouses are not new and fancy but are very clean. I hope the Corps of Engineers keeps this place the way it is simple. It is a refreshing respite from the business of every day life and I will happily return.
