I only stayed one night as I had many sugar ants invade into my RV. I just didnt have proper preparations or spray to prevent so cannot say was due to campground. I moved three times as the spaces were pretty unlevel back to front and side slants as well … made leveling a challenge to keep tires on ground. (Don’t like leveling to point where tires are off ground on RV. I will plan another trip here in the future, and hopefully I will be more prepared for the any invasion.

I hope one day they upgrade half of the camp sites to full hookups and maybe level some of the driveways

There wasn't anyone to check in with, or info on our reserved site available at the site office. Being new to the campsite, we did not know where to go as sites weren't clearly marked. The tent sites themselves were very 'rustic' and not what we were used to as State Park camping regulars. When we did not get return calls to the messages we left on the camp number, we opted for a hotel for the night. Honestly it is probably worth the cheap reservation cost, but was definitely not what we expected or were used to.

General
- During the Non-Peak season certain campsites and loops will be closed. Reservations longer than 14 days will require an approved extension. Extensions can be obtained from a ranger, or the information board located at the entrance of campground.
- Camping at one or more campsites at any one water resource project for a period longer than 14 days during any 30 consecutive day period is prohibited without the written permission of the District Commander.
- If arriving more than 24 hours after the start of your reservation, call (870) 246-5501 or your reservation will be cancelled and a $20 no-show fee plus the cost of the first night's stay will be charged.
- Sanitation, No dumping of household trash, gray water, rubbish, black water or any other waste material or waste liquid. All waste generated must be disposed of at the dump station or removed from the project lands.
- Quiet hours are between;
- Daily occupancy is required.
- No off-road vehicles permitted.
- One tent and one RV or two tents are allowed per campsite.
- All pets must be penned, caged or on a 6 foot leash at all times, No Exceptions!!!
- Persons bringing animals onto project lands are responsible for the proper removal and disposal of any waste produced by these animals.
- Fireworks prohibited in campground
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
