Site 26. We use 30 amp electric. I don't remember if the site has 50 amp. No water. Close to the shower and restroom building which was well kept and clean.

Great views, nice quiet loop where the kids can explore, 13 minutes from Hwy 7 beach access. Our water pump wasn’t working on the camper, but we were 20 feet from a spigot, so we made it work! (Site 18)

Awesome spot with short trail access to the lake for swimming or kayaking. The only bad thing, we were in a tent and there was a fishing tournament at 6 am on a Saturday. Bass boats can be very loud.

We have family reunion at Iron Mountain every year in June, and we have been doing this for over 40 years. Many of us camp during the week & then a big potluck on Saturday with more family stopping by. It is the perfect place for us since there are a lot of level camp sites where we camp. It is not close to a swimming area but that is best so we don't have to worry about children sneaking into the water. We take the kids swimming in the afternoons usually at Hwy. 7 dike, but it was closed this year due to covid-19. We did find a swimming area at Degray State Park close by. We love camping on Iron Mountain.

The camp sites need water at the sites ,you only have a few areas to fill your tanks.
The loop drives have rocks and or holes making it difficult to loop around.
Park ranger lets people park on the edge of turn around loops make it impossible to turn or pass around with almost hitting someone sticking out into the drive.
Water filling area the little kids are allowed to play, wash rocks and play with your hose while your trying to fill your tanks.
