What Guests Are Saying
Point Cedar is highly regarded for its beautiful, spacious campsites, clean facilities, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite spot for families and anglers. Many guests appreciate the helpful park rangers and the scenic views, with easy access to the lake for fishing and swimming. While some improvements are suggested, such as better water pressure in showers and upgraded campsite pads, overall experiences are positive, and visitors express a strong desire to return.

Camp sites are well spaced. Some sites are not laid out well as for placement of utilities, picnic tables, and fire pits. Lots of trees and shade. Cellular service is VERY poor. Bathrooms are nice and fairly clean (we generally use the rv anyway). This time of year (fall) it was nice and quite.

The only con: the grass needed to be cut. The mowers came during our stay and did the best they could around the campers. We will camp here again. We were at site #25, it had a lovely view of the water and the bluffs across the lake.

I love Point Cedar. This is a great spot. Wish the table and fire ring was closer to the pad, but still a great spot. Bathrooms are usually clean.

Nice place to camp for adults. Very limited areas for swimming without weeds.

Great shade and lake view. No trouble leveling our 40ft motor home. Wi-fi and cell service are terrible, very hit or miss. If you are going to have to work while camping and use your computer, I doubt you will have much luck. We have an ATT hotspot for Wi-Fi , and it worked less than half the time. Other campers had the same issue. We camped here last year and had the same problem, no dependable service. Otherwise, the campgrounds were great!
