Springhill

Considering the park had just recently recovered from massive flooding, it was absolutely amazing. The only issues were problems from the recent floods and were problems that didn't really interfere with our stay. I loved it and we expect to camp again this year!

We stay in Springhill every year in October and really enjoy it. But it seem to always need to be mowed that is the only thing I don't like about it getting your shoes wet in the tall grass in the mornings. It is very convenient to every thing less than a couple miles from anything you may need such as food, laundry, entertainment as well as being right on the River great view.We stay in area A don't care for area B that much.

We always enjoy our visit here. The only issue we have is that the grass hasn't been well maintained this year. Makes it hard for our dogs and us walking to the water.

Our experiences at Springhill have always been good. We rally with a group of people every September and it's fun to walk and talk with everyone. The campsites on the east side of the highway are large and the bicycle trails are fun. Casey's fuel is found about a mile to the south, and a Walmart Supercenter is just a few minutes away in Barling.

Keep mowing up better

The up keep is HORRIBLE!! One of our campsites B19 was so grown up we could not get off the Seive way when we set out! We ask them about weedeating and was told “ we could bring our own and weed eat the spot” ! This is not acceptable when u pay for a nice spot! We camp there all summer long for the past few years never had issues until the past 2 summers! Rude park attendants now!

I felt as if anyone was aloud in the campground at all times. When we checked in they didn’t tell us How to get to our campsite nor did they give us a tag for our car. They asked our last name and then to go in. It was our first visit to that campground so we had no clue where we were going. The facilities were not good. It was a pretty view being close to water but that was about it. We had stayed at Prairie Creek before and it was very nice and you checked in and also got tags for each are so the workers knew who you were. At Spring Hill I personally didn’t feel save due to the lack of workers being aware of anything. We will not return to that campground.

We enjoyed are stay!

The staff at entrance gate were not very friendly or helpful - the sites were adequate but not as clean as we usually encounter in COE facilities- restrooms were okay - the whole facility seemed uncared for
