Gate keeper, Jenny, was very friendly letting us check in early since the spot was vacant.
I like the pull through aspect. It feels very private with your awning facing the lake and your back to the road.
The chip-n-seal road surface is pretty course. The water is a pretty good distance from where you park. Have at least 75’ of hose to reach your RV. The electrical is on the opposite side of the campsite from the water source and I had to use my 30A extension cord. Be prepared.
I did really enjoy the stay and the lake is beautiful.

The hosts are fantastic at this park. Very, very, good communication. Actually had someone to pick up the phone when I called. Wonderful site. If I had to point anything out, it would be to mention to anyone going to this park to bring extra water hoses and power cable extensions. Some sites have the hook-ups a little farther than your typical sites.

The staff at the gate is excellent and maintains the single restroom very well. We are happy to see a second bath is in process of being built and is desperately needed.

The restroom building in the campground main loop is being rebuilt. Campers have to walk a quarter mile down the hill to the only restroom building in the campground - and it only has 2 men and 2 women toilet/shower rooms. Hence the one star. Otherwise I’d have given Oak Grove 4 stars.

My experience was very good considering. I noticed that the grill on site number 31 was missing and that the fish cleaning station at the boat ramp was not replaced. Some would say that campers bring their own grills but I can assure you that is not the case. They need to replace both the grill and the fish cleaning station. I noticed that they are planning on building a new restroom with showers up near the playground area where camp sites are located. This will be very useful and appreciated.
