Quiet and peaceful. Rangers and staff are always willing to assist anyone who needs it, and are friendly and respectful. Beautiful setting above the lake.

The park was super nice, clean and well maintained. We were greeted by a gentleman after a few minutes of arriving after hrs that was very eager to accommodate us. Super nice guy and educated us on the local amenities.
The park is fairly large with nice size sites. We were the only people there besides one other Rver so it was so quiet maybe a bit to quite but pretty awesome.
The only thing I would suggest would be better lighting along the roads through out the park. We chose a site overlooking the lake which was phenomenal but at night it was dark, like dark dark and being one of two in the park it felt a little unsettling.
Other than that great park 5 stars would deff recommend!

The campsites were GREAT! Love the playground for the grandbaby! Has lots of room to run , play, swing, dig in the dirt, etc. We love Oak Grove Campground for the playground and the gate attendees.
The only problem we had, was from the public pavilion next to our campsite. They played music from 2 pm until 10 pm. Beginning at 6pm (Around dark) we had planned to show our 5yr old granddaughter a movie (Using a Projector on the wall of the tent). COULD NOT HEAR OUR MOVIE OVER THE SOUND OF THE MUSIC FROM THE PAVILION.
We asked the renters of the pavilion to turn it down and they said they would....Couldn't say for sure if they did or not. It didn't seem to change the sound at our campsite.
My suggestion would be to rent the pavilion along with the campsite so I would not have that happen again.
Planning to camp again this weekend but will be camping at Pine Ridge. NO PAVILION FOR RENT IN THAT PARTICULAR CAMPGROUND.

The park is quiet and peaceful. Lights in the shower house kept going off while I was in the shower. Other than that we had a great time.

Camping spots are nice with good hookups
But the grass was pretty tall and a little difficult to walk in with flip flops or loose fitting footwear

Good campground. Nice playground for kids. Great bathrooms when they're clean. Our campsite wasn't great but you get what's left when you make a late reservation. Our site was right out in the sun and it was a staircase of like eight steps down to the picnic table and fire pit.

Nice clean park, bathrooms were clean but even the " newer" ones were dated and in need of minor repairs.
Although one of the ladies rooms had no light and the other the shower did not work so I guess more than minor repairs are called for.
