Great campground with many views over the lake. Most sites are near level on the water side of the road. The only issue I had, water source was about 40 feet away. I always carry three 25 ft. hoses, but this time there were freezing temps one night. So, I had to put heat tape on 40 ft of hose. Oh well, no problem, had running water next morning.

This was a great quiet respite! The roads getting there were a bit rough (not paved) and the lake is somewhat remote. But the site, the environment, and the ambience were perfect. We chose site 33, which was a pull through, paved, and had a canopy, picnic table, fire pit, all elevated on a hillside and overlooked the lake. We had both electric (50 and 30 amp) and water. Most other sites were similarly equipped. The campground was very clean and well maintained. We were there on a Wednesday, and only one other RV was seen. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This was the best park experience we had while exploring Arkansas. Great park and if you really want to get away from bothersome cell phone calls this is the park for you!
