Very beautiful place. Quiet, secluded. Little to no cell service fyi if staying for work.

Beautiful spot along the banks of the Arkansas River. We were almost fooled by the grain companies along the road as we approached, then were pleased with the large, level RV site with a covered picnic table and large fire pit. The campground is clean and well-maintained. On a Friday night in October, there wasn't much going on, which is just what we were looking for.

A nice campground with paved level sites and roads, some with lots of shade, adjoining the Arkansas River. Water hookups are shared and often too far apart to use without lots of extra hose. Can be quiet and serene, or noisy, depending on your neighbors.
The showers--well, one had its handle broken off so was unusable, the other was grubby.
Gatehouse is often closed with no posted gatehouse hours, they just close when they feel like it and expect you to come find them and register days later. Not welcoming.
