Site 6 was perfect. It was nicely spaced out from the other sites for privacy. No issues with lights shining into our camp. Loved the covered picnic table. We had 2 trees perfectly spaced to hang up our hammock. The bathrooms were clean, and within walking distance. The neighbors were quiet. It was my favorite site of the whole 16 day trip around the Central & West portion of Arkansas. Highly recommend it.

Moving up the check out time to 1pm is too early and uncalled for. For years we have never seen attendants clean fire pits or campsites at Beaver Lake/River. They always do at Old 86 but their checkout time remains at 3pm. They should all be off at 3 on at 4!

Site 13 at the Pines is such a great site. Set back and feels so secluded. Can’t wait for the next trip.

Once again we had an exceptional time at Damsite River! Restrooms were clean and in good repair. I really wish all the area Corp campgrounds would update their restroom/shower facilities to a design like at Damsite! The single stall behind locked door provides a sense of security while undressed and showering.
The camp host was friendly and helpful. We look forward to our next trip to the campground.
