This area of the river is awesome. The site has good shade. Middle of the day may have sun between RV & picnic table. If you have a sunscreen no sun. Happy camping 😉

Dam Site River Campground offers a beautiful, shaded location along the White River, ideal for fishing with clean, well-maintained facilities. Many campers praised the spacious, private sites and the friendly camp host, making it a favored destination for repeat visitors. However, some concerns were raised about the early checkout time and the need for upgrades to the shower facilities.

Site 49, Parker Bottoms, had no direct sunlight, so the a/c didn't have to work as hard. Very spacious site, convenient to restroom/bath house, close to fishing, and relatively quiet. One of my preferred spots at Dam Site River. We had a nice relaxing weekend.
