The bathroom has been out of service the last 2 times we were there. First time in November and then in February. It makes it really frustrating when you really need to go to bathroom and you need to get in your vehicle to drive to another bathroom in the RIve area. Please fix the bathroom in the Pines

This is a beautiful park with plenty of activities. Our only issue was no water at the RV site. Just wish we had known before booking. However, we throughly enjoyed our stay. Quiet and beautiful.

We really enjoyed our stay at this campground. Arrival was kind of difficult. Iniitally our navigator took us to the campground on the lake, which was closed for the season. Kind of freaked me out Fortunately, our rec.gov reservation had a directions icon and it took us to the open campgrounds below the dam where we had a reservation. It was a federal holiday and we were not sure where to find the fresh water point or where the dump station was. We asked another camper. We stayed in spot 07 in Pine Loop (I think). The camp host came by later in afternoon; he was very friendly. There was a set of stone steps down to the white river behind our campsite. This is outside of the special use area from what I can tell. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night and did not have the opportunity to trout fish. Maybe next time. This campground and spot 07 is on our list of "let's do it again." :)
