Stayed November 20-26, 2021, site 7. The river was incredible for both fishing and kayaking. There is plenty of space between each campsite with a covered table. Leatherwood Lake Park is a 10 mile drive and is a great place to hike or mountain bike. Also have a playground the young ones love to visit.

I booked 4 nights on a site with water and electricity, close to the bathrooms. We got there and set up only to find that the water was shut off and locked and the bathrooms were locked as well. We had to drive to the next camp site to use bathrooms. We left after 2 nights. There was no discounted rate for not having water and bathroom accessibility and there was no notice that was sent to us to say water and bathrooms were shut down. Very disappointing trip. But the area is beautiful.

Beautiful area and great campground nice friendly atmosphere. The restrooms were vary dirty compared to other COE facilities. We never seen or were checked in on by the campground host. Trash from the previous weekend was left on all the sites. By this time wildlife had gotten into some of it. We were not able to take showers because of the lack of hot water even after letting the water run for a long time. I would certainly check the reviews before booking this site again.

I'm thankful to find a place to camp in November. But it would have been nice to know the bathrooms and showers were locked up by us. And that there was no water hook up!! That was a rude surprise!!!
Very important information for a camper !!!
Nice place other then that. We enjoyed our time.
