Great place to camp. Close to the lake and walking trails. Although some of the trails aren't marked as well as others.

This was a no water at site so I went to check out shower facilities, there were two shower stalls in one room with no shower curtains or doors and the outside door didn’t lock. When I asked the camp attendant about this he grumpily told me, “as soon as I put up curtains the little eight year olds rip them down!”

The camp ground is beautiful! The park attendant was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it so much that we booked a site for 9 more days this fall. The lake front sites are incredible.

site was great. view was excellent. host was helpful but didn't know the area. bathrooms dirty with cobwebs and insects. showers were hazardous,curtains were tore down, handicap bench falling off wall,all hooks were broke off. not what i am accustomed from the corp.

Beautiful ,clean,great walk by the river. Nice country rides. Just watching the tugs and barges was intetesting.

General
- Please check in with camp host upon arrival.
- Campsites can accommodate one RV and one tent, or three tents.
- No parking in the grass.
- No dumping of household trash, gray water, rubbish, black water or any other waste material or waste liquid. All waste generated must deposed of at the dump station or removed from the project lands. Shower tents and bathroom tents, commonly referred to as changing tents, are not allowed.
- There is a $5 area use fee per vehicle for non-campers. Failure to pay day use fees, and or properly display applicable receipt, permit or pass is prohibited.
- No off-road vehicles or golf carts are permitted.
- All pets must be physically restrained in pens, cages, or on a 6-foot leash at all times. No Exceptions! Pets may not be left at campsites unattended. Persons bringing animals onto project lands are responsible for the proper removal and disposal of any waste produced by these animals.
- Camping at one or more campsites at any one water resource project such as Beaver Lake for a period longer than 14 days during any 30 consecutive day period is prohibited without the written permission of the District Commander.
- DON’T MOVE FIREWOOD. Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- STOP THE SPREAD OF INVASIVE SPECIES. Remove plants, seeds, animals, and mud from boots, gear, pets, and vehicles. Clean your gear before entering and leaving the recreation site. Stay on designated roads and trails and follow local guidelines for firewood. CLEAN, DRAIN, DRY boats and any other recreational equipment that contacts water.
