Penny and Bill (the gate keepers) came out to our vehicle to greet us and explain the easiest way to get to our spot. They were super friendly and polite.
We had an issue with our boat and had to go up and ask about a battery charger and Bill let us use his with no hesitation.
The camp grounds were very nice being able to see the water and the shaded spot we chose was perfect with it being so hot.
The only thing I can say negative about the spot itself was the wall on the back side of our slide out was touching the ground. We had to place a board and scrap out some rocks so it wouldn’t scuff it up so bad. There was enough parking for our camper a vehicle and our boat but had to park my car on the side of the road which worried me.
All in all it was an excellent vacation spot.

The park seems to be aging and could use some TLC. It is in a nice location, though, with pretty views. Whatever you do, don't go down a road the wrong way. This was my first time here and I did it one time on accident. Hours later, the park host found me and was very stern with me about it. Honestly, his tone was a little unnecessary. It was an honest, one time mistake but he acted like I had done it over and over. He spoke to me like I was a child. I am all about respecting rules but he could have addressed is a more respectful manner.

excellent pad site on the side of the hill with great access to the bbq grill and fire ring. accessing grass to walk a dog was a challenge and the grass wasn't cut. Picking a different spot could be a better experience

We had a great visit! The gate host walked out and greeted us immediately upon arrival at the gate. We had reserved site 5, but once we got to the site the angle did not work for our big rig. The host was kind enough to change our reservation to site 6. The lake was beautiful and the campground was quiet. The sites were well kept, although some of the wood railings seem to be deteriorating. We did not use the restrooms and showers but they appeared to be clean.
