What Guests Are Saying
Cossatot Reefs is highly praised for its beautiful scenery, spacious and well-maintained campsites, and clean restroom facilities, making it a favorite among campers. Visitors enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, wildlife sightings, and proximity to the Cossatot River for various activities like fishing and swimming. Some concerns include the closeness of certain campsites, occasional maintenance noise, and limited cell service, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return.

We've been coming to Cossatot Reefs for a few years now and absolutely will come back time and time again. Such a relaxing, beautiful place.

Absolutely beautiful. We saw an eagle repeatedly, herons, fish jumping and a beaver! The camp hosts were super friendly and efficient. I even talked with the game wardens and they were very nice too!

Beautiful place to camp. We got to see an eagle grab a fish out of the creek. It was absolutely amazing.

We stayed at Cossatot Reefs Campground over Thanksgiving weekend in site 05. The campground is easy to find and access. We have a 30' long motorhome and a 16' car trailer we pull and had no issue pulling in and parking. The camp roads are set up in loops and easy to navigate. The sites are decent sized for a 30-40' rig. Some bigger and some are smaller. One thing to note is the water hookups are shared in some of the sites. A water "Y" adapter would have been nice to have. We ran off our internal tank for our stay and had no issue. Also, the water hookup for our site was on the opposite side from the electrical, so a longer hose is a must (25 feet or so). We ran into a small issue when dumping the tanks. The vacuum breakers were missing on the dump station hose hookups. This left us unable to use clean water at the dump station. It might be worth throwing one in the water kit for such an occasion. Bathrooms and showers were clean and accessible. Kiddos enjoyed the playground and hiking at Cossatot River Falls. Overall great place to stay, and we will definitely be back.

Visited November 20th thru 23rd at Site #28. Great site on the river! Cossatot Reefs is a very nice park with several picturesque sites along the river. Very reasonably priced for having water and electric. I understand that there may be some financial restraints since Covid, etc. but some attention should be given to some signage indicating the Camp Site numbers along the main road loop turn-outs. (Camp Sites 1 thru whatever >, for example). And some of the signage entering the park are faded and do not reflect very well by headlights if traveling in the dark. Some minor infrastructure repairs need to be made as there were some sites that had the prep tables next to the grills uprooted from their bases. These are all minor things which didn't take away from our visit at all. Restrooms were very clean and kept. Dump station was well maintained as well. Hostess (Connie) who met us at check-in was very nice and cordial. We will be back hopefully in the spring to be able to enjoy the river a bit more since it rained pretty much the entire time we were there. Looking forward to it!

It's a nice park. We camped and fished and it was fun. The only down side was that there is no phone service in the park. Not only is that inconvenient, I feel it's a safety issue. If someone got hurt we would have no way of calling for help.

We stopped by Cossatot Reefs campground while passing through the area for a quick overnight.
Pros:
- Nice campsites with flat spots for tents and trees for hammocks.
- Nice view of the river with rocks in the middle
- Friendly camp host
Cons:
- Had to pay for 2 nights even though we could not stay that long. This is frustrating as we were booking a site on a Saturday night that someone else could have used, but no... the policy rather have empty spots than allow someone else to enjoy the site.
- No At&t service (could not book site on our phones)
