What Guests Are Saying
Cossatot Reefs is highly praised for its beautiful scenery, spacious and well-maintained campsites, and clean restroom facilities, making it a favorite among campers. Visitors enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, wildlife sightings, and proximity to the Cossatot River for various activities like fishing and swimming. Some concerns include the closeness of certain campsites, occasional maintenance noise, and limited cell service, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return.

All is good, BUT, please finish the restrooms! It has been almost a year with no restrooms, and the building is a prefab!

We love the owls and the remote area with wildlife. We stayed 2 weeks and want do this again. The dump station is out on the highway outside of the park and the speed bumps are so high you have to get out and and pull your blue tot around them by hand in the ditch. Haven't used the parks showers or restrooms since covid. We cleaned restrooms when we park hosted so we have certain expectations on how clean public restrooms should be and so far we haven't found one anywhere that we would feel safe to use. The new shower and restroom is still not open but we want use it anyway. We love the park but it is a clean your own campsite park still.

Beautiful site overlooking a running stream with rapids
. Lot was a nice size. It wasn’t totally level, but was able to be leveled easily. Paved with grill, fire ring and table. Water was in an odd location.

We had a great campsite. It's a very pretty campground. Enjoyed going into Mena for a meal at the Branding Iron. Disappointments: One bathhouse was closed. The other didn't have any toilet paper and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. The campground needs some TLC with repairs and upkeep.

Nice area, woody, quiet, remote. Bathroom remodeling timeframe over a year, I the spring of 2022 the new building was constructed but locked, Host reported "waiting on plumbing; connection" In summer 2022, observed new water service connection. COE reported waiting on new electrical service. In October 2022 observed new electrical connection, but bathroom still locked and unusable. New parking area at bathroom has not started yet so completion not expected until mid-2023. The COE should be able to do better.

We went in late August after school started back and campground was very quiet, not many campers on site so that was very nice. Only downside was that it was the end of August and it was hot. Campground sits in a low hollow below the lake damn with lots of trees so there was not much breeze. River was not flowing much due to decreased volume out of the dam so did not bring much relief. Other than the weather, the campground is just beautiful. We had a wily racoon who was able to open ice chests and enjoys, grapes, peaches, lunch meat and hotdogs so secure the lid to your ice chest! Bathrooms are kept clean and showers worked. Nice play ground for the littles. Would return again.
