What Guests Are Saying
Devils Fork campground is praised for its beautiful location, spacious and clean campsites, and well-maintained facilities, including warm showers and friendly staff. Visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, especially during the offseason, and many noted the excellent views and birdwatching opportunities. Some minor drawbacks include limited water hookups and occasional noise from nearby activities, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return for another stay.

The Corp needs to take down some small trees (and stumps left from other trees that have been cut down) at the camping sites so larger campers can get in. It took three different people to help the driver back into the site B1 and we've had the same problem at other sites at Devils Fork. The trees are in the way and make it difficult to park without damaging campers or trucks.

We had to go buy another section of water hose because the water connection was so far from the camping pad even though we already had 30 plus feet of water hose. We had to drive to Drasco Dollar General to buy a section of hose. Otherwise, the other campers were friendly and helpful as well as the gate attendant and the park was quiet and peaceful.

Love love love Devils Fork. Best campground on Greer’s Ferry Lake. Friendly staff, clean facilities, beautiful water. My only complaint is letting people smoke in the public swimming area. Numerous cigarette butts all along the beach area recently were gross.

Water connection is long way off of parking site, so have long hose. Also we got infested with beetle 🪲 like bugs after we left. Very shaded so imagine bugs were in the woods. Plus to have shade but minus for bugs,

Larry is one of the attendants at the campground. He is a most excellent man. Very helpful very friendly. Willing to go out of his way to help people. The Park and Campground itself is very well maintained. It's a beautiful place to visit and stay.
