Waveland Park had very clean, nice restrooms and showers. Sites were clean, although close together. Only complaint was that, at 8 am, maintenance drove around with leaf blowers attached to vehicle blowing leaves off of the road. Very loud and annoying that early morning.

Ended up tent camping in an RV section of the campground. Site 6. Very private. Lots of trees. Water side. We saw a lot of birds; geese, american white pelicans, and swallows.
The upside and downside to this spot is that bathroom/shower is close, but you can hear the vent from the bathhouse. It’s a low hum and it goes on and off, but you can hear it. Ended up sounding like white noise.

We only used the pavillion. It was perfect for a food gathering. We were not able to use the stage or the seating below due to high grass. Are there plans to make this usable again? Thanks for all you do to make this the perfect gathering place for an outdoor worship for our church group.
