Waveland Park Site 5. Really enjoyed the site. Perfect spot for view of Lake, Mt Magazine, and the sunsets. Had a minor issue with the water hookup, it quit working after a day, spoke with staff, they were willing to move us but we declined. I was able to adjust the faucet handle and got the water running again We will be going back often.

Clean restrooms, well kept park, trash dumpsters are placed away from camp sites which helps with fly problems. Real nice fish cleaning station just outside the camp ground. Beautiful setting.

Very nice campground, however the lower roads and campsites were all flooded. Very odd to build a campground with several roads just a few feet below the high water elevation.
Canceled our trip here planned in April because the water may still be up.
