It is a good lake for fishing, except when it is flooded due to a lot of rain.
The campsites and bath houses are maintained and kept clean.
The Gate Keepers are friendly and helpful.
The Ranger is always ready to help in any way he can.

We left early, because the ants were really bad. They infested our camper and the one's around us. We were told if you want to camp there you must spray your camper and site when you set up.

Great place to stay. We love the beauty of lake, fishing, and the solitude of the area.
After April, the ants are simply terrible. You cannot keep them from invading your vehicles, boat, and camper.
They’re in your car seat, your bed, your cabinets... they are a deal breaker once the weather warms up.
