What Guests Are Saying
John F. Kennedy campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and spacious campsites, making it a favorite destination for families and fishing enthusiasts. The hiking trails, particularly near Collins Creek, offer enjoyable experiences for all ages. While there are suggestions for improvements such as better internet service and more frequent trash pickup, the overall sentiment is very positive, with many campers expressing a desire to return.

We had a great time at JFK Campground. JFK has nice large campsites, and many sites are right on the river. We did use the bathhouse while visiting and we were very impressed. They were very clean and large. There was no water in Campground A, but it wasn't a problem for us. There are many places to get water throughout.

This park is so clean and well maintained. Garbage cans at every site is unusual for a Corp of Engineers park. It's beautiful, cooler than other parks as it is at the bottom of the dam and receiving that cold water. You never know how the water level is going to be as they generate as needed. Enjoy the fish hatchery while you are there. It's on the top of our list!

We dis have a great time at JFK Park despite the heat. The only problem we experienced was low lying and dead limbs near our brand new RV. We damaged a phone cell booster antenna because of a limb that was too low. After that we noticed several trees throughout the park that needed trimmed. This would also enhance the beauty of the park.
