What Guests Are Saying
John F. Kennedy campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and spacious campsites, making it a favorite destination for families and fishing enthusiasts. The hiking trails, particularly near Collins Creek, offer enjoyable experiences for all ages. While there are suggestions for improvements such as better internet service and more frequent trash pickup, the overall sentiment is very positive, with many campers expressing a desire to return.

Like it has been for years. Its nice, clean, and the cold breeze from the river. A few walking trails. If you like fishing try your hand at it. The sites are not stacked on top of each other.

We enjoyed ourselves; the only thing was people leaving their dogs tied out while they leave and go somewhere. The dogs bark nonstop for 2 hours straight. thanks, and we will be back.

Great campsites. Good water & power. Lots of tree cover & plenty of space between sites. We were in the D loop and enjoyed the walk down to the river and along trails. Very peaceful and quiet at night. Definately a place we will return. And caught a lot of fish (catch & release) all up and down the river from the park and miles down stream.

Park is clean and well tended. Restrooms very well kept. Park attendants very helpful. Trout fishing excellent, just be aware the dam release.

Each site had a wide space for both tents and RVs. The grounds were so clean and well maintained. The showers were clean, well maintained and well stocked. The River and trails are nice to fish and hike on. Check in and reserving were so easy. There was always someone on site for anything that was needed. Town was close enough incase you forgotten anything but far enough away you could forget it was there. Would definitely recommend staying there and my husband was already planning to go back before our stay was over.

Very nice campground. Spaces were large. I feel like some of the trees in the park need trimmed, lots of dead limbs in the trees with broken pieces of limbs on the ground.
Will definitely be coming back.
