What Guests Are Saying
John F. Kennedy campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and spacious campsites, making it a favorite destination for families and fishing enthusiasts. The hiking trails, particularly near Collins Creek, offer enjoyable experiences for all ages. While there are suggestions for improvements such as better internet service and more frequent trash pickup, the overall sentiment is very positive, with many campers expressing a desire to return.

We visit frequently to trout fish mainly, but it’s such a quiet place even if we didn’t fish Everyone is friendly Many of us have dogs, and we respect each other’s boundaries We were there for Halloween, and a group brought our dog, a doggie treat

Live about an hour away and this area is my go to spot. The trout fishing is amazing. Already have several more trips planned.

It’s a beautiful campground, our grandson had a wonderful time. The playground was well maintained. It’s very family friendly. Love being close to the river. The restroom shower house on the hill was super clean & looked to be recently renovated. We were in the lower section site B14. Our site was level, water pressure was good. The shower house close to us hasn’t been updated yet, but it wasn’t terrible, just not as nice as the other one. The reason for the 4 ⭐️is because of the amount of ants & ant hills all over our site, and cell service is non existent. I’m all for unplugging but with the crazy Arkansas weather we have, a small threat of bad weather, we couldn’t get local channels with our antenna. Luckily we were able to get a weather radio at a local store. We will book here again, like I said it’s a great campground and your close to town if you need anything or don’t feel like cooking there are some great restaurants nearby.
