Sugarloaf is a great family-fun destination! Great park with swimming and marina on site if you want to rent a pontoon as we did for a day. Spent 7 awesome days there from Colorado and just totally enjoyed ourselves the whole time. Recommend it to anyone!

I think the facility needs more electrical and water hookups. We were without and not allowed to run a generator after 10. This made for a long miserable weekend. Also the public restrooms are in need of some renovations and modernization

Wish I could make reservations for later in the summer. I come a long way and want a particular spot so make my reservations for the last day possible and then stay in that spot. Some years they turned off the electricity and closed the showers before I was ready to leave. Weather in Arkansas is fine for camping into October so feel they should keep the campground facilities open later.
