This was a beautiful location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Crater of Diamonds diamond mine is close, you can trout fish behind the Narrows Dam and you have the lake itself. If that's not enough your not but about 40 miles from Hot Springs.

This was one of the nicest state camping site we have stayed during our road trip from Northeast for the price we paid ($20 per night per site). 10 of us stayed there for two nights in mid-July. We had a 30ft travel trailer and a tent. The site was spacious enough for us to set up everything. There is a BBQ grill and a fire ring which seem to be standard at the most of campground. It was convenient that two garbage cans were placed at each site. There are no camp store or anything on site or nearby (there were surrounding towns where you can buy groceries, etc) so, make sure to bring everything you need.
We used the bathroom/shower facility there during our stay which was clean and spacious to use. I used a shower room with my two kids comfortably. The hot water for the shower gets cold (not hot enough) if you are going to use the shower later at night but I had no issue with the water temperature when I used it early in the evening or in the morning.
We were there to visit the Crater of Diamond state park which was about 30 mins away. The campground also has marina where you are rent a boat or other water activity equipment. No matter where you situate, you will see the beautiful lake but I hope to stay by the lake next time.

We were spending the night before working at a nearby marina the next day. Our site had all the items needed for an overnight, including water, electricity and sewer. The roads were a little tight, but manageable.
