It's always a good time at Kirby. Camp grounds are well maintained and easily accessible. Easy to beach your boat as to have convenient access to it at all times. This is my favorite camp grounds on Lake Greeson.

We like Kirby Landing and use it for family reunions. Very beautiful location, good amenities, friendly people. Campgrounds well kept, and motel rooms well equipped. Handy to Hot Springs, Diamond Mines and fun things to do at Murfreesboro. All great except weather, it rained most of the time!

It’s certainly no surprise to y’all that it’s getting harder & harder to to find available campsites. Some campers book multiple sites as soon as your website opens for “new” reservations not intending to use them all. They cancel as the date draws near if they choose to not occupy the site. AND they take ALL the weekends so that it makes it almost impossible for anyone to stay two weeks without having to move. I don’t know the answer as to how to correct this monopoly, but it’s not fair to other campers. We love Kirby Landing; it is close to Hot Springs where I can see my sister who has Alzheimer’s & way closer to our doctors who we have to see regularly for heart & cancer check-ups. White Oak State Park is very nice & closer to our home, but it is a small park & we can’t utilize our party barge there. We also like Shouse Ford on DeGray Lake where we camped when my children were babies & thru adulthood (they’re now 50 & 52) & still camp there on their own. Moro Bay State Park is lovely, small & close to home. But Kirby Landing is our FAVORITE!!! Always enjoy camping there where we’ve made wonderful lifetime friends. If it rains every day like this last trip I still enjoy it as long as I have a good book!
