this trip was over the 4th of Jul.. it was wonderful.. lots of smiles and happy people kids galore being free to ride bikes the showers are the best and very nice AC nice walking paths Bring your bikes for sure

I went over the 4th of Jul to my great surprise the camp was packed with happy joy filled people it was quiet. The shower/bath was immaculate and cool nice to take a shower in AC All the employees where wonderful loved my stay will be using this little hideaway alot

This could be a very nice park to stay at except that nobody stops at the "front gate", because it's a side shack and people just drive thru. There are so many people/cars a each site. We saw several sites with 5 to 6 vehicles (up to 15 people)...parking all over the road & grass. Since nobody enforces the amount of people & cars at each site...it's like a drag strip of speeding cars (so watch your kids). There were so many cars/trucks & boat trailers trying to use the boat ramp...they lined up all the way to the front entrance. The lake was so high there wasn't even a beach to be seen.

From Mountain Home, Arkansas, take State Route 5 north for 6 miles to Midway. Turn left on State Route 178 and follow for 7 miles to Lakeview. Turn right on Boat Dock Road and follow signs into the campground.
