The gatekeepers, Shirley and Walt, were excellent sources of information. The showers were great as well as the restrooms. The close proximity to the Marina was a plus.

This is a beautiful campground, with awesome views, clean restrooms, and spacious sites, friendly hosts and park rangers! My only complaint is, someone needs to get the dog owners under control! People when you bring your dog/dogs to a campground you are responsible for your dog/dogs and that means they must be on a leash at all times unless they are inside your camper. They are not to be left unattended while you go off boating, fishing, walking, shopping etc. to bark all day disturbing other campers. Dogs are animals, they don't have a clue you're going to return, they just know they're alone! And, don't tie them up outside while you're inside your camper with your air conditioner and tv so loud you can't hear them barking and yapping to get your attention! When you take them for a walk to do their business, CLEAN IT UP! The park has plenty of trash cans/dumpsters to dispose their waste. I observed a man walking into the restroom with 2 dogs and no leash. It clearly shows a picture of a man on the mens restroom and a women on the womens restroom, I did not see a picture of a dog anywhere. Dogs do not belong in the restrooms! You may love your dog/dogs as your child, but not everyone's a dog lover. So if you must bring your 4 legged creature with you camping, please keep them quiet, keep them on a leash, and always pick up after them.
