Site B1 was great. My camper at 22ft needed very minimal leveling. Plenty of room. Site amenities all up to date. Great area, was quiet and peaceful.
The dump station needs improvements. The right side was not operational. The left was at a poor angle. I have a short TT and was unable to dump front tank. To dump rear tank the trailer had to be backed in due to the concrete barriers. The access was higher than the TT exit so during dumping you had to raise and lower the hose. Also there was no rinse water available to connect or use.

We love the campsites and the park is beautiful. However, there were a couple of things that made it less than perfect. #1 Lake of rule enforcement by officers. Several dogs were not on leashes. We saw them chasing people who were walking and allowing them to run free and poop in others campers campsites when they weren't there. Ranger drove by and saw the loose dogs and said nothing to the owners. #2 The dump station. The pipe that you hook your sewer hose to so that you can dump sticks up high out of the ground. It is higher that our dump release so there is no way that we can completely empty our black water tank. We have to stop and pay at another park so that we can completely clean out the tank. The hole to dump in should be level with the ground like it is at most other campgrounds. If it wasn't for these to complaints we would go back several times a year.

Nice quiet camp... Clean bathroom and shower.... only problem I had was the rocks at the swim beach...I forgot my water shoes and had to go barefoot I didn't like it at all... But didn't let that stop us from having a great time

Everything was great except the flies. Not much anybody can do about it but there were a very high concentration of flies. I am thinking that there are several chicken houses in the area and the flies must come from them. Can't eat at the picnic table without a screen canopy around you or you will get jumped. The nearby Nuclear Power Plant was a little scary. Didn't know that was sitting right there on the other side of the interstate about 10 minutes from this campsite. Other than that, it was a great campsite on the lake. Very pretty if you get a lake side campsite. Showers were within walking distance of our site and were pretty clean. No complaints other than standing water that doesn't drain well. The sites were never checked by any campground host. Our neighbors decided to have the entire family over at 7 PM. 30+ people in about 15 cars piled up around their campsite. It was ridiculous. Had to ask them to move their car from blocking our driveway. There was no guard/host to talk to and address the issue. So I guess you can do whatever you want to do and nobody is there to say anything.

Site E09 at the water was our first choice but it is a 5% grade and our 33’ fifth wheel was too long. We ended up at G23 in the woods and it fit us great. Unfortunately, this site doesn’t have the shared water there, but it is across the street accessible with a long hose if needed. The bathhouse was good and has nice water pressure. The park attendant was very helpful.
