What Guests Are Saying
Piney Bay Campground offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment with spacious, clean campsites near the water, making it ideal for relaxation and family activities. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean restrooms, and beautiful views, particularly for fishing and kayaking. While some sites may have leveling issues and occasional noise from nearby boats and trains, the overall experience is positive, with many campers planning to return.

The bathrooms were kept clean.
B loop area is in the backwater of the lake. A bit far from swimming area, if that’s what your looking for. Lots of turtles though. Flies were a bit bad in this section.

We love camping at Piney Bay because it is in close proximity to our work and home. We enjoy just getting away! Piney Bay is a nice campground, but could really use some much needed updating. You have to watch what sites you reserve in the G section, because over half do not have water on site. The breaker boxes also need to be updated to accommodate 50 amp campers. Overall, Piney is good place to get away from it all!

Beautiful Park. There are a variety of sites close to Clarksville or Russellville, AR.

I am not sure why when you book places they ask how many vehicles, then neighbors have tons of visitors taking up the road, makes it difficult to get boat back in your site, camper out, etc. They should be required to park somewhere not on the roads. Kids ride bikes all around and cars block view of drivers. Also guess the electric is not grounded or whatever, a lightning strike took out our inverter and that cost us over $150.

Park is very clean & peaceful. Very limited cell service (almost none), but that’s fine with us. It’s nice to “check out”. Restroom & shower facilities were clean with good water pressure for hair washing.

The campground could use some updates. All in all nice place. We enjoyed Mt Nebo and Mt Magazine and Lake Dardanelle. Quite and relaxing campground. The host on duty were very pleasant and helpful.

The folks running the park are awesome. They are very friendly and helpful. They are also keeping the park and restrooms very clean.
