What Guests Are Saying
Piney Bay Campground offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment with spacious, clean campsites near the water, making it ideal for relaxation and family activities. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean restrooms, and beautiful views, particularly for fishing and kayaking. While some sites may have leveling issues and occasional noise from nearby boats and trains, the overall experience is positive, with many campers planning to return.

Only few campers were there and so it made a very quiet and peaceful time. We drove to one of Eden Waterfall and enjoyed our hike in tge morning. We also took a 30 minute trip to Russelville and visited the Kaleidoclasm Art Gallery. I recommend going, the artist Daniel, was friendly and shared his art journey with us. We also visited the state park in Russelville and went to the visitor center and watched a documentary on the trail of tears.

Beautiful location with campsites right on the water! People were very friendly with many families. Super helpful camp hosts. Bathrooms were not the nicest but everything was functional and there were hot showers. It was very warm and humid but the shade from trees in most campsites helped immensely.

We love camping at Piney Bay, great fishing, nice camp hosts, clean and well maintained but most of all beautiful sunsets.

Sites are unkeeped with limbs, dirt. The fire ring looked like it had not been cleaned out in years. Why not hire someone to maintain these sites? Shoreline is overgrown . I have been coming here for 45 years and it is the worst I have seen it

The grass needed mowing, there were limbs down in several places, the park was very quiet though.

We loved our location (G1), the park was clean including the bathrooms and swim beach area. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Would definitely recommend.

One of my favorite campsites. We were right on the lake and it was really beautiful. I highly recommend this site.
