What Guests Are Saying
Cottonshed Park is a well-maintained and peaceful campground with friendly and attentive staff, particularly park attendant Stan, who goes above and beyond to assist guests. Many visitors enjoyed the clean facilities, beautiful lake views, and great fishing opportunities, making it a preferred destination for future visits. Some minor concerns included large speed bumps and limited boat parking, but overall experiences were overwhelmingly positive.

This was a great campground for us. The whole place was clean, well organized and the host was very nice. He checked on us and visited a while and made us feel very welcome and invited us back. We will always try to stay there when going on our trips through Arkansas. Keep up the good work. It makes a difference to us.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the campground host. He gave us a map and explained the lay out of the campground. The sites are paved ,level asphalt pads and spread out. Electric and water are at each site. Many sites are right up against the lake. Restroom facilities were nice and very clean.I would definitely return when traveling through this area. Army Corp of Engineer campground are the best!

Everything we dreamt about in camping. But what made us absolutely love this place was the camp host. Stan reeder. the kindest, most attentive, diligent host we ever had the pleasure to meet. Restrooms were the cleanest weve seen since we started camping at coes. 2017 Nice paint. Nice shower. Perfect. We extended our stay just to enjoy Stans hospitality and his wonderful park.
Walmart is about 20 miles away. Dollar general is 6 miles away. Its a dry county so BYOB.

Off the beaten path, but what a gem! Sunsets were beautiful, the handicapped bathrooms for Sites 1-24 were large and clean. Park Attendant Stan was absolutely wonderful & helpful, working with us to move from Site 24 (BEAUTIFUL but no shade cover) to Site 25 (full shade). A basketball hoop and Disc Golf are available if you arenβt a fisherman (the alligators seemed to have frightened the fish away from the pier while trying to fish).
