What Guests Are Saying
Cottonshed Park is a well-maintained and peaceful campground with friendly and attentive staff, particularly park attendant Stan, who goes above and beyond to assist guests. Many visitors enjoyed the clean facilities, beautiful lake views, and great fishing opportunities, making it a preferred destination for future visits. Some minor concerns included large speed bumps and limited boat parking, but overall experiences were overwhelmingly positive.

Site 34 is a level concrete pad with a stunning lake view. This campground is unique because each site has a railing around the picnic table and fire pit area that feels like your personal deck.
The campground is remote and VERY quiet.

This place is a well kept secret. It is a bit tricky to find, and down a long bumpy road. But what a joy when you get there! Almost every site is waterfront, level and has good utilities.
The lake is quiet, and very pretty. We did not use showers or bathrooms so cannot speak to them.

This is a great place! Only about 45 minutes to the Crater of Diamonds. Nice, clean, quiet. Beautiful sunset views. Great fishing. If I’m ever in the area again, I would definitely go back for another stay!

Cancelled by park due to construction not being finished. We were placed in Beard's lake park where bathrooms were out of order. Had to drive down the road to shower or dump. Drive to boat ramp. Ground was mushy. Terrible place!

We game fishing for the white bass. We were not disappointed! The park is an excellent place for camping with your family. There is a playground for the grand babies and playground for the older out fishing lol. We caught fish, and had an excellent time at our campsite. It is very clean and cozy. We had tents and camper.
