Great little park on the edge of the lake. Most all of the spots had nice views of the water and the covered picnic tables were a plus. The fire ring was a little far from the main area of each campground spot but was nicely laid out with plenty of seating area. I liked the separate bathrooms with the shower and toilet.

Stan and his wife were gracious, friendly and fun Campground hosts. The best we had on our 4 month journey down south!

Camp site was great except that the water hook up was more than 35 feet from the parking. Had to get a longer hose. Road going into park is horrible but once there everything was fine. Even saw an alligator!

Great time at the park. It was very nice and clean. The park attendant was very nice and helpful. All the other campers were talking about how great it was and they would be back again. Really a outstanding trip. Thank you again Mark

Beautiful park with lots of things to do. Alot of the sites had awnings already over the picnic tables which is nice. The park has Frisbee golf, a basketball goal, and a very nice playground with swings which are kid really enjoyed. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The park attendants were very nice and the park itself was quiet and well mowed and maintained. The only thing I could recommend for the park is an ice machine for people to buy ice.

This Park is a hidden gem. Every site has awesome views of the lake. Has a disc golf area. Great for viewing wildlife. Definitely a favorite.

I was at site 14. My third time staying at Cottonshed. It is terrific! I couldn't give it five stars because of two things, neither of which can be fixed or controlled by the COE or management. Cell service is marginal, and I spent a lot of time trying to wait for a signal to send text messages or use social media. The second problem is alligators in the lake, prevent water fun activities. I have dogs that love to swim, and I had to be extra careful they didn't go next to the water. Other than that, I have zero complaints. Other campers are very friendly there, and so is the staff. I will go back, just won't stay more than a couple days.
