What Guests Are Saying
Cottonshed Park is a well-maintained and peaceful campground with friendly and attentive staff, particularly park attendant Stan, who goes above and beyond to assist guests. Many visitors enjoyed the clean facilities, beautiful lake views, and great fishing opportunities, making it a preferred destination for future visits. Some minor concerns included large speed bumps and limited boat parking, but overall experiences were overwhelmingly positive.

Off the beaten path, but what a gem! Sunsets were beautiful, the handicapped bathrooms for Sites 1-24 were large and clean. Park Attendant Stan was absolutely wonderful & helpful, working with us to move from Site 24 (BEAUTIFUL but no shade cover) to Site 25 (full shade). A basketball hoop and Disc Golf are available if you aren’t a fisherman (the alligators seemed to have frightened the fish away from the pier while trying to fish).

Very nice campground with the nicest, most knowledgeable host I've ever met. The only negative was the bathrooms were not kept very clean.

This is a beautiful park. It is back in the woods but beautiful views of the lake. The camp hosts are very nice and very helpful. We were in site 42 beautiful views and always a breeze blowing. We were there at a bad time of year for the first hatching of mayflies. The mayflies were pretty bad, and you couldn't really sit outside. We noticed that they were not to bad at sites that were in away from the water. I would stay here again if in the area. Very peaceful, not busy at all when we were there.

Site 34 is a level concrete pad with a stunning lake view. This campground is unique because each site has a railing around the picnic table and fire pit area that feels like your personal deck.
The campground is remote and VERY quiet.
