Your gate attendant is a very unhappy man and has no business dealing with the public. He has a very poor attitude toward guest. Will not camp at Cranfield while he is your attendant

Park was nice, however, the sites aren’t the cleanest. A lot of trash at and in the fire pits.

Cranfield is a well run campground. Everything is clean and well cared for from the grounds to the toilets. The attendant was kind and courteous and both he and the local ranger were seen driving through the campground several times a day which made us feel safe. The campsite we stayed in was nicely separated from the others with a high degree of privacy. Plenty of trees to provide shade and the views of the lake were fantastic. We stayed for two weeks and would have like to have stayed longer.
