Was in town for grandsons mountain bike race. Campground was great! Clean, level site, water and electric. Our phones and hotspot connected easily was able to stream a movie during a rain storm. Will definitely be back.

The shower house is very outdated and gives no privacy to the user. This could easily be improved by extending the shower stall into the large adjoining open dressing area. No one wants to dress in front of everyone in the bathroom.

we were in site 49 which sits right between 3 other sites that are fairly close, good sites for a group of people, there was 2 sites on both sides of us that was a family reunion, the kids kept going through our site, we should have just traded spots with one them on the end

My wife and I liked the lot we chose. The distance to the lake was not far. The distance from our next neighbor was good (not to close). We travel with our dogs, so it's better for everyone. It was actually good that there was no TV and internet. I wasn't aware that Arkansas had so many Armadillos, they were around every day we were there.

It is a very nice state campground and most of the sites provide a view of the lake. The campground hosts are very friendly and professional thereby making the check-in and out process quick and easy. Although there are no septic sites we will definitely stay there again.
If you want to rent a boat to go fishing, skiing or just spend the day on the lake there is a boat dock two minutes away.

Things went well. The barbeque pit needed a little cleaning. My reservation was not posted on the display box, no problem.

Never tent camped where car was not on site. Needs to be stated for tent campers. We would have rented another site. Had to haul all our equipment to site from a parking lot.
Homeless camping next door. Not a comfortable situation.
No access to lake except through brush and fallen trees.
RVers had it easy. Too hard for tent campers.
Trashed equipment and tables next to site. Not attractive at all.
Only place to pitch tent was on gravel bed. Not comfortable at all.
