Camping spot was excellent wanted to stay an extra night and called recreation.gov. they said to get ahold of camp hosts which I did . Camp host said I need to go through recreation.gov . I would say the website is a joke and a waste of your time .

Great park with lots of space between sites. We had #08 and were happy with it considering there were only 3 sites left to pick from. Sites near the water are closer together as typical. Water pressure was low around 20 PSI but still manageable. Close to town so Verizon and AT&T were both 4 bars. Very hilly but okay since we brought our e-bikes.

The gate attendants were very helpful and friendly. They were seen driving around the park as well as Rangers. This makes us feel safe and if we need information we have the opportunity to ask. We appreciated the covered picnic table, concrete sites and well maintained grounds. The paved roads are narrow and the low water causeway to get into the park, is not wide enough for two big rigs or boat trailers to pass. The sewage dump is outside the park, a mile away from our site. Full hookup sites would be a great addition.

This park is very well kept. Our site #32 was spacious and easy to back into. Unfortunately, we had to depart early due to a family emergency. The park host graciously processed a prompt refund for our unused days for us. Thanks Bob. If you are new to the park, be sure you are familiar with your site location when you arrive, as there are no signs indicating which loops contain which site numbers. We will certainly revisit this park again.
