What Guests Are Saying
Dam - Quarry campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, well-kept grounds, and great trout fishing in the Norfork River. Many campers appreciate the spacious sites and friendly park staff, with several expressing a strong desire to return. However, there are concerns about the cleanliness of the bathrooms and some facilities needing maintenance, which some attribute to the behavior of other campers rather than park management.

We were surprised to see the grass so tall. Perhaps this may have caused the increase in ticks. We were also disappointed to see how many cars and boats parked on the grass. Also how many visitors were allowed at the sites. One evening the site next to us had about six cars parked on both sides of the road. This has always been one of our favorite places. Just sad.

Love the park. It’s clean and the park hosts are very helpful. Wish they had full hookups.

A nice place to stay. The water was loud but we got used to it. Looked like a nice place to fish but we didn’t get a chance.
Things to do near by.

We loved our short visit to this campground. Many improvements since we last were in the area. Paved and level sites with water and electric. Very peaceful stay with lots of wildlife.

On the Brightside our trip to Quarry was over all a good one. The countryside is beautiful and the people in the area are very friendly and hospitable. This campground is defiantly in need of maintenance.
-The observation deck overlooking the Norfork River is a hazard with steps that were broken and wooden flooring that was rotting from water damage. Access to the river for fishing was very difficult because of the damaged stairs.
-The grass in the campground had not been mowed for weeks. Grass and weeds were above our knees when walking or getting to the children's playground equipment. We noticed the National Fish Hatchery, which is on the opposite side of the road had been mowed, but not the campground areas.
-Only one of the two shower facilities were open for use. This made it difficult to get showers or use restrooms when the campground was full on weekends.

Restroom nearest our campsite was closed when the campground was nearly full with campers. Spots are super close - just like a parking lot.
