What Guests Are Saying
Dam - Quarry campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, well-kept grounds, and great trout fishing in the Norfork River. Many campers appreciate the spacious sites and friendly park staff, with several expressing a strong desire to return. However, there are concerns about the cleanliness of the bathrooms and some facilities needing maintenance, which some attribute to the behavior of other campers rather than park management.

The campground is spacious and quiet and the price is very affordable especially if you have one of the senior passes. The only drawback is that there is no sewer hookup. But there is a dump station on site.

The park is always great. Staff is wonderful to deal with. I have noticed over the last few years that maintenance and cleaning of the shower facility has deteriorated. The show stalls, in particular, need a good power washing and shower nozzles could be replaced due to the mineral buildup.

Nice people, nice campground. Difficult to get a good camp spot on recreation.gov. The restrooms/showers were filthy with mold and fungus. Restroom facilities were cleaned every day but I think they were just sprayed down and rinsed with no effort to really get them clean.

We love Dam-Quarry. Staff and Volunteers are always nice. Park is clean and quiet, even if it's usually full. Always see a lot of families with children enjoying outdoors. Fish hatchery is just across the road. There's an access for only kids only fishing area at Dry Run Creek by the hatchery.

We love this campground and usually go every year. The shower houses/toilet buildings are in dire need of updating. They were dirty and none of the shower heads worked correctly. The shower curtains were ripped and barely hanging on. How much do shower heads and curtains cost anyway? They have been this way every year unfortunately, but we love the park otherwise. Beautiful area.

Site 52 is beautiful. Right on the river with a bench overlooking.
