What Guests Are Saying
Dam - Quarry campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, well-kept grounds, and great trout fishing in the Norfork River. Many campers appreciate the spacious sites and friendly park staff, with several expressing a strong desire to return. However, there are concerns about the cleanliness of the bathrooms and some facilities needing maintenance, which some attribute to the behavior of other campers rather than park management.

The park is very peaceful and beautiful. The location for anyone wanting to enjoy the river can’t be beat. The facilities are clean.

We brought home a story alright! The buzzards attacked our roof on our 5th wheel and did over $6000.00 worth of damage. We’ve had many great camping experiences here but not this time.

We love glamping at Dam Quarry. The campsites are always clean. The check in process is super fast and easy and the camp host/hostess us always friendly and knowledgeable. We also like the fact that the sites are spaced well.

This is a beautiful park. It is well managed, clean and the people who work there are great. The setting is very rural but anything you need is close by. We were there for 12 days and would have no reservation with going back.

Everything was good as usual, in my opinion, with all the technology that we have I don’t understand why there hasn’t been some improvement made for WiFi or improved cell coverage. We’ve been there when storms have came through and no way of notifying campers there could be some danger approaching. Just a thought.

A great campground. We visited during the Solar Eclipse and the rangers even prevented non-campers from entering the park to prevent over crowding.

There was lots of open space and it didn’t feel cramped in the campground. I was in site 46. I would not recommend this campground for dogs unless you have one that doesn’t like grass. Most of the large grassy expanses were full of cocklebur or some other very sharp and nasty little burrs.
