What Guests Are Saying
Dam - Quarry campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, well-kept grounds, and great trout fishing in the Norfork River. Many campers appreciate the spacious sites and friendly park staff, with several expressing a strong desire to return. However, there are concerns about the cleanliness of the bathrooms and some facilities needing maintenance, which some attribute to the behavior of other campers rather than park management.

This is our 3rd visit to this campground. It's well run. We ended up at site 2 this time with tents, during a super busy time (total solar eclipse). I don't recommend this site for tents unless the weather is good (no windbreaks, and make sure you have heavy duty tent stakes... the ground is deceivingly full of rocks, lol, bent the tent stakes that come with the tents, but we always carry heavy duty stakes just in case). Cell reception was great (5G). Other than some of the eclipse visitors not knowing campground etiquette and crossing through our site, it was great and we will be back another time. The woman in the check in station was wonderful.

We liked the clean, private bath + shower rooms. The staff also routinely patrolled the campground. There were many people fly-fishing for trout in the nearby river. There is a fish hatchery across the street that is free to visit and is interesting. Overall, very pleased with this campground.
