What Guests Are Saying
Dam - Quarry campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, well-kept grounds, and great trout fishing in the Norfork River. Many campers appreciate the spacious sites and friendly park staff, with several expressing a strong desire to return. However, there are concerns about the cleanliness of the bathrooms and some facilities needing maintenance, which some attribute to the behavior of other campers rather than park management.

This is an awesome campground. Sites are level and easy to back into. This is a Corp of Engineers park so you can stay for $11 a night with a senior pass. Park is well maintained and the attendants are outstanding. This is our favorite campground. If you like river fishing for tout or lake fishing for bass, crappie or other species, you need to try this park.

We love staying at this campground but this last stay the stench was bad, it smelled like sewer the whole time we were there. I made online reservations and there were only 2 sites available close to the river and when it poured down rain our site was flooded with water on the site, couldn't enjoy staying outdoors under canopy and the site behind was reserved and nobody ever showed up on that site. Don't understand why some sites are reserved and they never get occupied.

The camp was clean and well kept. There are still no nonrenewable sites available they need to go back to that system for full-time travelers who can’t schedule ahead.

Lots of traffic on highway adjacent to camp sites.

Nice level sites along the Norfolk river. Sites are spaced well so you’d not on top of each other. Big rig friendly. Restroom are nice. Trout fishing great & fish hatchery tours right across the street. Special access for handicapped & young children to learn how to fish. Would like to see dump station updated with easier access for larger RVs.

Great place to kick back and relax Norfork River runs alongside some of the campsites - it’s very clean.

We come here every year (4 times now) for a group get together and it is always nice with gorgeous views. The addition of flush toilets was greatly appreciated. Some friends went geocaching and there are apparently lots of locations to visit nearby to find them.
