What Guests Are Saying
Joplin Campground offers stunning views, ample space, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great choice for families and outdoor enthusiasts. While the campground is well-maintained with helpful staff, there is a recurring issue with ants and some uneven terrain that could be challenging for larger RVs. Overall, visitors appreciate the scenic beauty and facilities, although some suggest improvements in pest control and road conditions.

It was peaceful and quiet. Last of July was very hot and the flies were really bad. The Grand kids enjoyed fishing and tubing on the lake. Look forward to camping in September in Crystal Springs.

Very pleasant 2-night stay on the shoreline of Lake Ouachita. Campsite was clean and we enjoyed swimming from the shoreline and walking dogs around the entire campgound.

A quite peaceful place to camp and spend time with family. It’s our favorite place we return to the same campsite every year for the last 7 years. Hickory Nut mountain is a beautiful look at points for the lake. Also love playing in the creeks along the gravel road from Crystals Springs. Mountain Harbor has some pretty great staff and store. It our home away from home.
