What Guests Are Saying
Joplin Campground offers stunning views, ample space, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great choice for families and outdoor enthusiasts. While the campground is well-maintained with helpful staff, there is a recurring issue with ants and some uneven terrain that could be challenging for larger RVs. Overall, visitors appreciate the scenic beauty and facilities, although some suggest improvements in pest control and road conditions.

Beautiful lake views. More primative than most. Mostly gravel. Not suitable for really big campers, which I like. Very quiet and relaxing. Even though the Lake is down due drought it was still beautiful and easy to kayak around.

Very nice campsite with a great view. An area where campers are not so close together.

The lake is beautiful. The site we stayed at was leveled but there were lots of ants and not much privacy due to the camp ground hosts being across from the site. They did not bother us at all but if you’re looking for a secluded site, 03 isn’t the best for that.

Beautiful lake views. In most cases the campsites are clearly designated and the bathrooms were reasonably clean. Way too many bugs, so be prepared.
