We love Tompkins Bend! It’s our favorite place to camp. The camp volunteers are pleasant and helpful, and the sites have beautiful views.

The only problem I had was that the 50 amp current system would kick my serge protection out once or twice daily

Campsites are large and not to close together. Bathrooms and showers were clean. The sunrises and sunsets over the lake were gorgeous.

Clean facilities, beautiful, well maintained park. The bank is flat enough to easily drag a kayak down to the lake or a few chairs to enjoy the view. My only complaint is that the camping spots aren’t wooded enough for my liking. My preference is to have a barrier between myself and overly friendly neighbors.

General
- No off-road vehicles allowed in park
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- Check-Out time is 4pm and Check-In time is 6pm
- Camper Self-Check In Cards are located at the entrance of the campground. Please grab a card apon entry, fill it out and attach it to your campsite post. A ranger will verify the information written on the card later and check you in.
